Hi everyone,

I'm currently applying to medical school and finished an early rough draft of my personal statement. I was hoping if some people (preferably people in medical school/ accepted to a medical school) could read my personal statement and give me useful feedback. Thank you!

Have you tried the personal statement reader thread at:

I would also recommend the multiple guides on personal statements, (if you haven't read through those already). Those threads usually cover 95%+ of mistakes that people make. In general, it's better to send something beyond an "early rough draft", not just as a courtesy to the volunteer readers, but also to help you get actually useful and personalized feedback beyond things that are covered in generic personal statement guides.

Seconded. This is why I made my own PS advice thread - because it covered around 90% of the advice I gave to first drafts. If you send a first draft to a PS guide reader...You may not get a response because the repetitious nature of comments is extraordinarily tedious.

Also, what @Moko posted is the DO reader list. Here is the MD reader list:

Both are adequate. Just more available to you.
