Looking for study buddy to prepare for MCAT in Korea

Hi,

I am a recent college graduate (of a top 20 university) looking for a study buddy to prepare for the MCAT (summer test date).

Is anyone available?

Hi. I am from the Philippines but I'm currently in korea taking up my master's degree. I was searching the internet for an MCAT testing center in korea but but to no avail, until I bumped in to this thread. If you don't mind, can you tell me where I could inquire about taking MCAT in korea? I would really appreciate a response 🙂

I don't understand why J Dub is being a complete douche about this.

To aladd1n:

Only very few Koreans take the MCAT, as they know it's almost impossible to get into a US med school as an international student. Instead of trying to find a study buddy, try taking advantage of the many 24 hour study cafes in Korea. You'll find plenty of HARDCORE students to keep you motivated, even if they aren't taking the MCAT (actually the MCAT is a cakewalk compared to what they have to go through...)

I'm not aware of any MCAT testing sites in Korea. You should be able to find international test locations on the official AMCAS website. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I just found one in the Philippines. I would also like to enrol in med school but I have little background in the field (although I am willing to study hard). I wish I could join you but I still have a long way to go. I have to secure my own review materials as of the moment. Goodluck on your upcoming exam!

I'm in Malaysia and planning on writing in April or May but going to write in Singapore. Not exactly that close but at least in the same continent 😉

Hey. I have taken the MCAT before but am possibly going to take it again in June back in the states. If you are interested in getting together from time to time and studying, let me know.

Hi. Im also preparing for MCAT and will take it this Aug. R u in Korea now or in the US? Im Korean too and plz let me know if you still want to study together!
Thanks!

whoa fellow pre-med student in Korea!!

yea, it would be super nice to have a few study buddies to keep me motivated and what not.

Where do you guys all live? I'm in Gangwon province (Wonju to be precise) and it takes about 1.5 hours by bus to get to Seoul from here. So, I probably won't be able to meet up everyday but I'm sure that we can figure something out.

My name is Arnold and I go by Jupil in Korea. Call me or text me anytime: 010-6247-9511
