I finished my committee interview yesterday, and though things went really well, they all had one thing to say: I need to apply to more schools.

So far, I've only applied to the University of Oklahoma and Boston University, but I'm coming to the realization that I should definitely pick up more. Ideally, I'd get accepted to OU, however, if that isn't the case, then every dental school will look the same to me. In other words, location doesn't matter, but the education I will receive does.

I guess I should post my stats:

23 AA/ 23 TS/ 26 PAT

I have a 4.00 GPA, and I'm a mathematics major and a chemistry minor. I'm also a URM, if that matters.

I have around 50 hours of community service, and 106 observation hours. I don't have any research experience.

I am president of my mathematics honor fraternity, and I've been a freshmen mentor for 3 years. Also, I'm an assistant manager where I work.

I figured I should ask the best of the best on where to apply! I'm picking up two more schools--maybe three, if I can be convinced.

Lastly, I don't want to go to a Texas school.

Thanks in advance!

It depends on what you have in mind when looking for schools....School website is your best source when it comes to program details....also some schools are not very oos friendly ....you can read about it in this thread.

If I were you and had similar stats I would only consider program, weather, tuition and living expenses to apply oos.....if tuition is not your concern.....as most oos will fall in similar range....then give it a shot to Columbia, UCSF, UPenn, UoP.....or u can also add Temple , NYU and Tufts ( most oos seats) to ur list.
