Hello all!
I had a question about getting letters of rec... I'm applying to several research and public health programs for the summer. Most of the programs require 2 LORs, and I was wondering if you should always get one from a science professor. My biochemistry professor whom I will be doing research with next semester agreed to write me one, and even though he knows me as a student, I have a French professor whom I did an independent study with on health care in France and knows more about me personally than the biochem professor. I feel like the biochem professor could write me a pretty good recommendation, but the French prof would write a really strong one.
I was going to have my boss (I'm a study group leader for general chemistry on my campus) write me the second letter. She's a former biochem professor too, but I was never her student or did research with her. She knows me really well too.
