LOR after completed secondaries

i will be shadowing a dr. next semester...and hopefully by december...i will get to know the dr well enough to ask for a letter.

my question is...can i send an additional letter to "update" my application in december?

I do not think that it is going to be a problem. I am going to update schools somewhere in November about my grades, activites done and also I will have an additional LOR from an instructor.

I understand it's a good idea to send in little updates, especially if you're waitlisted. I plan to keep busy during the application cycle, so that I can keep adding to my file, and have something more to discuss during interviews.
