LOR and distance ed. or on-line class.

I have a dilemma, my work in the next semester will make it very hard for me to take a classroom based class. So, I'm opting for a distance-online class in another state. Next issue is that I would have to ask for an LOR eventually from this instructors who will never see me face to face. An example is a distance physiology class at UCBerkeley extension. Are these instructors willing to give LORs from somebody they won't see ina semeter long course? Even if they me an LOR - will this be an issue as far as ADEA or Dental schools are concerned?
