Hey guys,
For those of you with prior experience or better reading skills,
I was wondering if we would need to have all our LOR at the time of submission.
I will be able to get 1 LOR from a Primary investigator I work with and another from a summer employer but the LOC from an optometrists have been difficult because although I shadowed 2 ODs for 20 hours and 12 hours. The second OD reluctantly agreed to fill out the LOR. I was wondering if you would need all your LORs in before your application is considered and if not would it be better to just submit with 2 for the sake of submitting mid September?
Also it seems when I bring up shadowing. The most I've been given is about 3 days so I question how generous of a rec these ODs are able to give.
Bonus question:
Also anyone know which universities are friendly towards Canadians/international because most schools do accept, some seem to have daunting numbers such as SCCO. Is it worthwhile to apply to some of those that only accept a couple?
I'm an average student (3.4-3.5 gpa) from a top tier Canandian University in the biological sciences.
All help is greatly appreciated!
