I looked at each school's admission website to find out. I sent them automatically to schools that give a secondary application to everyone. The schools that screened were kinda tricky, so I just followed the guidelines they had on their admissions website.

wait so how does that work - or will it become self explanatory when the application opens?

i mean how do you "delay" sending letters to schools - I am assuming you just assign letters later (part of the change you can make to application after submitting?)

thanks

yeah, pretty much. you assign letters to schools on AMCAS. I would just send them to everywhere right off the bat. it's not going to count against you in the admissions process. they have many more significant things to evaluate in your application!

+1

I know for sure Mayo explicitly states that applicants should not send letters unless requested. But yeah... Other than them, I don't remember another school that asked applicants not to send them though.
