Some LOR questions, but bear with this grandma (and her struggling LOR writers) using Interfolio, please.
1) Does the LOR have to be dated?
2) Can the LOR be pre-dated (and then I assume the date it was submitted isn't marked on Interfolio?)
3) Can the LOR be 1-2 years old (from the date listed by the writer)?
4) For writing one of my letters: they had a different position at a different institute at the time they worked with me, but now they're in a new position at another institute. When they start the letter saying, "I am X Department Head from Y Institute and knew JCha360194 for # years...." do they just refer to their old title, but then sign with their new title at the bottom of the LOR? Or just only mention their current title? (This is the case for 2 of my letter writers, and they both aren't sure of the proper format).
Thank you for your time, and Happy New Year!
