How might a letter from a resident be viewed? This is someone who knows me well, and who I've worked with for about 3 quarters already, and this letter would be in addition to a faculty, dept head and an associate dean's letter.

I don't think it will carry much weight, if any. Stick to OMFS faculty if possible.
