The TA at my school has been doing this for 10+ years and is extremely well-known and well-liked on my campus. Virtually everyone would say he teaches better than the actual professors. Unfortunately, he does not have a PhD and was not allowed by my school to become the professor when the previous prof (0f 20+ years) retired last year. He is an older man, and not just a 20-something graduate student.
He taught recitations, but also ran the laboratory part of the course, which was a 1 credit class.
Should I go for it?
