Hi all,
I have a quick question about my LORs. I have been working on an involved neuroscience project during my undergrad degree for almost a year with a graduate student in my lab. At the same time, the PI in this lab knows me very well and has been my instructor in courses.
I think that both of them know me well and both of them could write me very good letters, and their content would be sufficiently different. While obviously the PI's letter will carry more weight, it seems like a missed opportunity not to ask my grad student colleague for one. Is it alright if I ask them both for letters? Is it weird if my PI writes a letter and cosigns the letter that the grad student writes as well?
Thanks!
