Hi guys, I'm currently applying for a research position at my university during the summer, and I'm required to hand in 2 letters of recommendation:
It is advised that one be a professor, while the other a person who you have "done research or coursework, or who has supervised you in some capacity."
I was wondering if it would be appropriate to use the dentist that I volunteered/shadowed for last summer for this LOR (she has told me on numerous occasions that she would be more than happy to write a LOR for me). This would be a medical research position, so I'm not quite sure whether it would be appropriate to include a LOR from a dentist or not.
Would appreciate any constructive feedback
Thanks!
