The dentist I'm shadowing hasnt written a LOR for a student before. He wants to know what he should write. I am not sure either...what else besides " I think so and so will make a good dentist?"
Thanks

give the dentist your CV and your transcripts. also, make a list of your volunteer, research, work, experience.

then ask him to talk about your sincere interest in dentistry, how you interact well with the patients, how you are respectful to the staff and the patients. the dentist can also include how you are a quick learner, and mention your grades and extracurricular involvement.

in the end you want to include that you will be a great asset to the dental school and will make an excellent dentist.
