LOR from a math prof....does it count as a science LOR?

I know AADSAS factors math in the science gpa, but not sure how schools classify a LOR from a math prof.

Any input appreciated.

In my opinion, math isn't exactly science. By science, they are talking about biology, chemistry, classes like that.

I don;t think Math is incorporated for dental school- math is listed as a science course under the AADSAS application... why would it be incorporated?

I know Tufts accepts letters from math professors, just curious about other schools...i.e. columbia and penn.

your post is confusing. if math is listed as a science why wouldn't it be included as a science?

Anyone else have any information on this? I believe my best letter may come from a calculus professor I had, and I would hate for the dental schools not to count this as a required letter.
