So one of my professors at my school is a DPT/MS and teaches my bio-mechanics course. She actually offered to write me a LOR (I didn't even ask) but would med schools not take it as seriously as say a Phd or MD LOR?

Dude, DPT is still considered a doctorate degree. Many physical therapists usually teach anatomy or anatomy and physiology courses. In fact, they probably are better at anatomy than MD's

I just didn't know if med schools want Phd and MD LOR only. Do you mean teach at med schools or undergrad? My anatomy and physiology professors all had their PhD's in undergrad

Ok I seriously need to stop browsing this forum. Y'all are making me more neurotic than I was to begin with. Now ALL letters have to be from a Phd or MD?
Just no..
