anyone have a link or even a list of the requirements of LORs for dental school

i know its basically 3 science prof. and 1 dentist - but some need 4 science LORs

If my Calculus teacher wanted to write a LOR, would he be considered a 'science professor' ?

No, your calculus professor would not be considered a science professor. In some cases, schools will allow for a LOR from a professor of a non-science class; however, many dental schools have different requirements in terms of LORs. Your best bet is to go on the sites of each of the dental schools you are planning on applying to and seeing what each one requires.

In my experience, the easiest way to meet all the LOR requirements is to get a committee letter from your school's advising office as many of the school's that have somewhat unique LOR requirements allow you the option of submitting a committee letter in place of whatever unique LORs they require (ie. one school I'm applying to asks for a LOR from a Chemistry prof... something I did not have but was able to overlook since I got a committee letter).
