I already told my writers to write a LoR and gave them a deadline in June. So I'm just gonna use AASDAS to upload it. However, how does that work does AASDAS just send them an e-mail with instructions and that's it?

Yes, you can have the writers send their letters via internet, or mail it manually. When filling the application, at the section of LoR, you'll have 2 options: send via internet or mail. AASDAS will send the writer a link if you request to be sent via internet. If send by mail, there's a form that need to be filled out and mailed with the letter. The form just ask for your personal information so they know it's for such as your AASDAS ID, name, DOB, etc...

Depends. My dentist was old school and was not able to upload the form online. In the end, I found out that the file couldn't upload because it needed to be in PDF and he didn't do that. I then had to pick up the LoR in person and mail it in his place. So, do monitor your AASDAS application to check on the status of the LoR.
