This may seem like a dumb question, but how important is it for a person writing me a letter of recommendation to have high quality writing skills?

I am currently a health care provider and would like to ask my co-worker (who has much more experience in the hospital than me) to write me a letter of recommendation that highlights my clinical experience. She is by far the best choice for evaluating me in the clinical setting because she knows what I have done and can speak to my ability to be a good physician. The problem is that in all of the email she sends me she writes in short, choppy sentences. This is likely because that is all she has done since she has started working in the clinical setting. I am not sure of the quality of her writing for something more formal. I am only worried about the writing quality of her letter but not the content. Do you think it is okay for me to ask her to write the letter? There is no one else who can speak to my abilities at the level that she can.

Thanks!

content is what matters, and she may write it nicer because it's a letter of recommendation. it's easy to spot LORs that are eloquent and sound great but really don't say anything. I would much rather have a not so elegant letter with good supporting evidence
