LOR question - AMCAS verified, LOR's not in yet

I didn't want to create a new post about this because I've searched and there's tons of information on LOR's but I want to get a definitive answer to my question.

My AMCAS is verified but AMCAS hasn't received my LOR's yet. I submitted them via interfolio yesterday so I'm hoping AMCAS receives them very soon. Two questions.

1. Should I still select the schools I want to apply to right now and submit and pay for them?

2. If yes, do I "assign" the letters that I have to schools when I select them now or do I assign them once AMCAS has received them?

1. Yes. Your app won't be reviewed until the secondary is complete and letters are received.
2. Makes no difference. Assign them now.
