LOR Question--PI and Lab Manager/Tech???

I was wondering if it makes a difference if I have a letter of recommendation from both the PI and the lab manager/tech of the lab that I work at, or if that was actually detrimental to have two letters from the same lab. I know the PI very well, but the tech has a better idea of how hard I work, how well I troubleshoot, etc.

Doesn't sound like a good idea. Tell your lab tech to send your PI his letter so the PI can incorporate elements from it into his letter.
