Hi sdn, I was originally being tailored in my research lab as an undergrad to one day be a grad student. Long story short I decided it was not for me and decided to pursue medicine. PI won't write me a letter of rec because she is not a fan of the medical school process. I have a grad student that I worked with in the lab that is willing to write a LOR instead, but I heard from a premed advisor that she is not qualified to do so. I feel it would be VERY awkward to list my 1000 hr lab experience without a LOR. What do you guys think? Thanks!
