anyone have strong feelings about how many pathologists to have writing your LORs? since i've only done one rotation in path, i have just one letter from a pathologist. i also have a letter from a pediatrician with whom i did research, and one from a surgeon.

seems like it's better to have letters from people who know me well rather than from random pathologists in the department who don't. i'm doing a path rotation in two months at an away school and could potentially get a letter from them, but ain't that too late? thoughts?

Yeah, it is tough after only 1 rotation. I'm in a similar situation. In addition to the path letter you already have you could set up a time to speak with the chair of the path dept. My chair was very helpful and asked if I would like a LOR, even though we had very minimal contact during the rotation. I provided a CV and PS to help.
