LOR Question

I contacted one of my Liberal Art's professors from college. She said she would be happy to write me a LOR but she does not work at the University anymore. What should I do? Can I still take her LOR, though it will not be on the University letterhead? Is that valid ?

I think it would be ok as long as it's not too long ago that she was your prof. Ie. within the last couple of years. Good luck.

I dont have a AADSAS account yet. Wont let me until the 2007 application start.

I want to ask my professors for LOR's now, BUT I dont have the required cover letters that AADSAS want attached to the LOR.

What do I do? What did you guys do? Did everyone send out there LOR's to AADSAS or directly to the school they applied to??

I want to get a headstart now but I dont have that dumb cover letter.

Well.. That might be a problem, coz, I took the class in 2000. But she is one of the professors who really likes me and I am confident that she will write me a good letter, hence this limbo.

i'm applying for the 2007 cycle and created an AADSAS "dummy" account just to get a head start on what the application will look like. will my AADSAS ID remain the same, or will I have to register for a new account?

According to the AADSAS website, just a few days ago, you will loose all the info from your 'dummy' account and you will have to create a new account for 2007. So if you are saving your Essay in the 2006 account, please make another copy of it on your PC, before the 2006 account expires. (Trust me, I have a good friend, who learnt this lesson the hard way)
