Go to each school's website and check to see what they require.

A preprofessional committee is a program at some undergrads that help pre-health applicants. Students will go through an interview process with the committee and the committee will prepare background information on you to send in place of LORs from individual people.

If my school doesn't have one, does that mean I don't have to worry about it? Because at some schools such as columbia, they said they want 1 composite letter from a pre-health committee, I thought I have to provide?

Also, the reason why I asked about LOR was I could not locate the information at some schools' websites..
I'm really interested in UPENN. I couldn't find how many LOR they need on their web site. 😳
I guess I have to search more carefully.

I just emailed the schools I was interested in directly.

I recently emailed UPenn last week, and this is what they emailed me back: Hope that this helps:

"Thank you for your interest in our program. Please try to get letters from faculty who know your work and can evaluate your academic performance. Letters do not have to be from science faculty unless it is your major. We need a minimum of two letters. Letters can be sent to us directly or through AADSAS. Please contact our office if you have additional questions.

Sincerely,
