The physician writing my LOR had a question for me, and I didn't know how to answer him. Do schools typically contact your letter writers?

Each admissions committee is actually a unit of the CIA and they contact and verify everything on your app.

He's scared of the CIA and wants to screen his calls.

Seriously though, since I'm applying to numerous schools and he's quite busy, he was just wondering if he should give his number or his office number...I guess that helps him manage his time more efficiently? Who knows.

If it's on his letterhead I believe his office number will suffice.
