On some of the COMS websites, it says for letter requirements. "pre-medical source". Can another science faculty member or an additional letter from a physician count? I guess I could ask my advisor for a letter. ( I havent yet) because I havent taken a class from her, and she doesnt know me personally. What to do?

Most schools have a "Pre-medical committee" that write letters for applicants. You should be able to find out if your school has one.

Alternatively, if your school does not have a committee, most schools will accept 3 letters from professors who know you well (preferably at least 2 of which should be science professors - like from your pre-req classes).

If you have any other questions about specific schools, you can always call their admissions departments...

best of luck!
