So, I asked a professor of mine to write a recommendation for me and she told me my TA for the lab section would write a part of it and she would add her own comments at the end. Both her and the TA would sign it at the end. Would this be OK? Would it be better just to have the prof write it?

Sometimes the professor will even ask the TA to write the whole thing and the professor will simply review it an sign it (as if he had written it).
