Ok so my premed adviser is confusing me crap out of me. So how many LOR do we need?

Is it correct to say that we need

1 Science Prof
1 MD Doc
1 Committee (equivalent of how many of what kind of letter?)

Is that all I need or do we need more?

It varies by school. Most people say 2 science professors and 1 non-science to be safe. Personally, I won't have a non-science professor because I don't really know any, but I will have a supervisor from a non-science/non-medical field.

Also, I'm not sure about this because my school doesn't have a committee letter, but it is my understanding that if you have a committee letter you're good to go, nothing else required.

Wow this sucks all the links on AMCAS is outdated as hell (regarding each school's specific requirement). So I can just send all my letters to AMCAS (sending a few extra just to be sure) then let them send all of them to all the school I apply to? (all my school participate in the program)
