Anybody else getting this problem? I've filled out the evaluator request for all 4 of my letters, and they've all said that the email has not been received yet. Any ideas??

I would assume it takes some time for that email to get sent?

My reviewers received their emails, though one did say it ended up in the spam folder.

I have been having the same problem? I send 4 (3 to my university email and 1 to a gmail) only the dentist with the gmail received it?

I called ADEA and they said it’s likely something with their firewall, so I’m not sure what to do about that

One of my professors said that he has written letter of recommendations for 13 years and has never had this happened? I just emailed my professors and asked if they had a different email address I could use. So far 2 of them have given me their gmail and it went straight through!?

Does anybody know if it looks unprofessional to send through a gmail? If it’s cool then I’m definitely gonna do this. Also, does the LOR invitation send instructions about putting a signature and letterhead?

Interesting, my recommenders received and accepted the invite to the AADSAS portal.

Did you send it to their university email or through their gmail?
Under the directions on the application website in reference to changing a LOR request it says "if you entered an incorrect email or the professor wants it sent to a different email....." So i am guessing it would be okay

I'd stick with the professional email and just give it some time, you can't submit for another 20 days anyways haha. It'll eventually get to them, but yeah ask them to make sure it didn't end up in Spam.
Also, I think it does give them all the instructions on what an acceptable letter is, in regards to things like signatures & letterheads (and also how to upload it). It wouldn't harm to just remind them of this, and to also tell your dentist LOR writers! I think professors write them more-often than dentists and thus they know the protocol, so just remind your dentists politely 🙂!
Don't worry too much! Good luck 🙂

I just got off the phone with them. They said if it doesnt work the professors can call them and see if they can figure it out OR if the professors dont mind to just have them use their personal gmail. I asked if that would look unprofessional and the guy told me not at all. It doesnt matter what email they send it from

I also emailed them, and they sent me a link that I could just forward to my professors for them to fill out the LOR

Called ADEA and was told it was okay to send the eval request to personal emails. It seems like school emails aren't working for a lot of us, but personal emails do work and are received instantaneously

So I have one committee letter, and that committee letter has 3 letters attached to it. So when i fill it out on the application, is ADEA going to email them. And once they accept the request and attach my committee letter, will I be notified of it being completed and everything is attached?

Actually never mind, I was able to find the answer to my question above.

However, I have another question. I took my DAT last year. It says on the application, once you enter you DAT score and DENTPIN, it will take 10 days for the official scores to transfer. How do I know if they did transfer?

Don't worry I gotchu. After logging in, there are four tabs (My app, add program, submit app, check status). Click on 'check status', it'll show whether or not your DAT was accepted under standardized tests.

When I click "check status", there says "overall status", and under it, it says "transcripts". Then under it, it just says "my programs". Does that mean it already went through, that's why I don't see anything?

Dang, then your DAT score isn't linked to your account. For me, under overall status, it shows transcripts, evaluations, and standardized tests

Well I get the reason for evaluations is not there because I still did not fill it out. But idk why DAT is not there, maybe cause I didn't finish putting in my contact information?

Did you contact ADA or did it just happen by itself?

Anyone else's LOR requests still not going through? I re-sent my request 3 times now, and my professors still aren't getting it. It's not in their spam folder either.

Email the ADEA and they will send you a link that you can forward to the professors.
