For KCU it said your letter of rec can't be older than 2 years old from their website. Does any other school do this? I have one letter from my PI, but it was dated Dec 2016 at the end of my research internship and I don't know if I should bother him to refind the letter, change the date, resubmit to interfolio..etc.

Ask him to resubmit it and make the date current. The letter can be the same, thats what my PI did.

True. Is there an easy way to get the letter he submitted to interfolio? I just don’t want him to have to search for it since it’s been a few yrs (he’s not super organized)

No idea, I’ve never used interfolio before
