I worked in a PT clinic for a year from 2008-2009. I emailed the PT that I worked with and asked for a LOR in the beginning of October. She said that she would do it, but was getting married on Oct. 15, so turn around time for the letter would be slow. PTCAS sent her the form and I followed up with another email the same day, but I haven't heard back from her since. Assuming she was on a honeymoon last week and is back now, do you think it's appropriate to email her again today?? Or should I wait until the end of the week?

I e-submitted a couple weeks ago, so I'm just waiting on this recommendation to come in. One of the schools I'm applying to has a Nov. 1 deadline, so I'm starting to freak out :scared:

Keep calm; it's frustrating because the LOR's are yet another aspect of this process that is truly out of your control. I had a lot of trouble getting a LOR from a PT that I saw and badgered every single day, so I feel your frustration.

Give the clinic a call. If your reference isn't around, talk to one of the other PTs about it. It'll get done.

I'd email her again asap, and follow up with a phone call tomorrow if there's no response to the email.

BTW, I have had (and am still having) LOR problems myself so I totally understand.
