So all my professors and dentists decided to submit the LOR electronically. The only thing I'm not 100% on is that when you submit your application and give their contact information, they will send an email to their email adresss with a link attached, where they can upload the .doc or .docx document electronically? Is this correct? Thanks. I just wanna be 100% sure.

I think they update as a .pdf file, but the email that goes to the professor will have all the guidelines that they need. I had no problem submitting them electronically 🙂 and of course it works much faster than the snail mail.

Previous poster was correct. Also you don't need to hit "submit" on your application, the recommendation letters can be uploaded on to your application while you are working on it. Once you input the recommender's information into the portal, there is a link you click on and it will send the recommenders an email instantly requesting a letter on your behalf.
