HI,, folks

My application was mailed out to schools. But I am still waiting for one LOR, I just dont know when my instructor can finish it. And then, I will need to request my letter packet to be sent. Will I be late, if I wont be able to get my letters ready maybe until mid July?
Shall I ask the letters I have had now to be sent now, and let my slow instructor send hers individually? I wanted to include all the letters in my packet, but at this point, I just dont know whehter it's worth to wait for the last letter.

Im sort of in the same boat. 2 of my 3 letters were sent with the application and im just waiting on the one from my dentist. But i've asked around and apparently they all get sent and updated as soon as they are uploaded. I suppose it depends on if that last letter is required. I know for some schools they only need 2 LoR's and in that case you should be fine. I already sent the first two, and aadsas will send the last whenever it gets submitted. I wouldn't wait till mid july cuz even that's not a guarentee. its better to have some sent than none.

Yeah, same with me. I sent my dentist one kind of late, so it's still in the middle of processing even though I'm the second batch and apps were already mailed out to my schools today.

I talked to AADSAS and they said that the apps should get updated as soon as the LORs go through. I'd suggest just submitting now!

Thank you folks

Very helpful advice.. I agree that there is really no guarantee when they going to send the letter. That is why I have been waiting, since she always says shortly, but never got it done. I was trying to get it in my letter packet. I will listen to you folks.

What does "in progress" mean under LOE status?
Its my understanding that the person you requested to write the letter has opened the email, made an account or whatever, but hasn't submitted a letter yet. One of mine is listed as in progress, and my evaluator has told me he's writing it but hasn't submitted.

🙂Hi all
I am interested in what you guys put or did put on your Lor's and what are some tips you may have? Also where do i send em if you have an address please provide me?

As for personal statements, how many do i need to do and where do i send em?
What are things to do or that you put for personal statements?🙂

I appreciate any help🙂👍

you may want to start here for any basic questions regarding the application process.

you only need 1 personal statement, and LoR's vary from school to school, but typicaly 3. 2 from science profs, and 1 from your shadowing dentist.

Good luck

Hm, does anyone know how long it takes for AADSAS to process the updated letter and then send it to your designated schools (which I'm sure will undergo further processing)? I'm just wondering if it's a little different bc its a update rather than an e-submission.

Letter updates officially get sent out with the next batch. But I'm pretty sure schools can access them whenever they pull your file.
