Im looking at EVMS's secondary site and apparently they want an extra form attached with all the letters with signitures from the writers. Am i going to have to go and find them have them sign the form and resubmit? One of the writers is retired!

Quick question for you before I can answer your question...did you use a confidential letter writing service, or did you have the authors send the letters to EVMS directly?

I don't know about EVMS specifically, but every place I applied that wanted their own forms attached was willing to waive it when I asked them.

you called them?

When I applied. I just didn't use the form. My school sent a committee letters and my other letters of rec directly to evms and I had a committee waver formed that I signed attached to each letter. So I don't think it will be a problem.

Here is an e-mail response from EVMS to me, with my question regarding LORs below:

Dan - that requirement is for those who do not use a letter writing service or pre-health committee. So, YES we use both interfolio and virtual evals.

Hello,

I noticed in the supplementary application materials that EVMS requires all letters of recommendation to come directly from the author. To be sure, does this mean that EVMS will not accept letters from a confidential service (such as Interfolio.com)?

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Best regards,

Dan Hudson

So...I think you're going to be okay without the cover letter.

Just taking a look at the requirements and secondary prompts, so that if I do get an invite, I'll be ready to answer and submit!
