I've recently asked my instructor for a LOR and he happily approved, but I've read here: https://www.aamc.org/students/applying/amcas/faqs/147738/amcas_2010_faqs-17.7.html that the writer should include my AMCAS ID which I don't have since I want to apply in 2016.
I'm aware that it's kind of early to ask for a letter now, but I just wanted to get it now before the instructor forgets who I'm.
I read some threads here that it's not really important to include the ID, is this true? if it's, then why is that page saying we need to?
