Sweet!! If you can do it, go for it. My LOR's are confidential so I don't even know what's in it....if I was in your situation...I think I'd probably write it myself.

I wrote one of the LOR by myself, and then had my research professor read it, edit it and sign it. It's quite common because some people just don't have the time to write a LOR for you.
