I am getting ready to assign my fourth and final LOR to some of my programs. According to the Dean's office I have a really strong letter from my third year core family medicine rotation; a non-academic Physcian from private practice that I worked with one on one for six weeks. I also have a fourth Derm letter from my home department which is not as strong of a letter. Any thoughts on which way I should go?

I don't think you could be faulted for going with the family medicine letter but it will look odd if you are missing a letter from your own home department
