Hi guys....My Chem II prof is going to write one of my LORs for me. I am not sure if I am applying in May 2006 or May 2007. My question is........ Who should she address the letter to? And should she date it? Thanx for your time. Congrats to all those that got in this year, my best wishes to you all.

You don't have to worry about things like that...your professor should know how to write a letter of recommendation. I'm assuming the letter begins something like "To whom it may concern....." And I think she needs to state when she had you as a student...so a date should be on the letter....hope this helps.

I think "Dear admissions committee" sounds a little more personal than "To whom it may concern"
