So... I have a committee letter and packet of 5 LORs (including my research mentor letter) that are being uploaded to virtual eval. For those of you with a similar deal have you found this to be sufficient for most schools or have you had to resend certain ones/procure new ones??

its really safer to call the school and see what they want. its stupid, i know, but some MSTP secretaries have told me that its quicker for them to get the packet by snail mail than it is for the MD committee to forward it to them.

i know NYU for sure would like you to send the packet by mail in addition to ve's. cornell, columbia, upitt, and mayo's MSTPs have access to VE, and I know UPenn told me that VE alone is fine. Ill let you know more once I make more calls.

All of the schools (see my mdapps link below) that I have applied to have accepted VirtualEvals except for UCSF, which required my pre-health advising office to mail the packet to them hard-copy. I think it's safe to say that almost every school will accept VirtualEvals, but just to be safe you can usually find this information by surfing their website or just e-mailing them.

are you using past tense because you already received a secondary from UCSF or because you went ahead and sent your LORs before receiving a secondary?

Nope, haven't received a secondary yet (crossing my fingers).

The pre-med advisory committee at my school sends letters to all schools at once in early June, and the VirtualEvals software automatically sends an e-mail to the applicant informing him/her of which schools have access to the letters. I noticed that UCSF was off of the list, and found out that they are one of the few recalcitrant schools that don't accept VirtualEvals and so my letter packet was mailed there instead.
