I'm looking for reviews or opinions from anyone who's gone to their program, or who has gotten in and chosen not to go, and if so, why? I'm applying to formal career-changer programs this cycle and my biggest concerns are teaching quality, program size, affordability, and of course outcomes.

My stats are okay but not fantastic, so I don't think I have much of a shot at Goucher/BM/Scripps and wouldn't be competitive for a linkage, plus those programs are expensive and I'm trying to minimize using loans since I'll need them for med school. Stats are: 3.53 undergrad (but with about 8 Ws and three science classes already - chem with a C, bio I taken pass/fail pass, and bio II with an A-), 3.92 grad/masters, 800 SAT verbal, 640 math, 760 writing (taken 2014 so old scoring method).

I met with Loras's program director and what I liked about the program was its very small size, affordable tuition (~26k for two semesters and a summer session), and the fact that they could create a customized schedule for me based on my needs, potentially including an upper-level elective or two. What I didn't like is that she said that their medical school acceptance rate is in line with the national average, so about 40-50%. That seems extremely low for a program that is dedicated to helping students get into med school, and is a red flag for me.

It's a very small program so I can't find much on outcomes data online, but would love to hear from anyone who has attended or considered it. Thanks!
