Or Civilization as we know it 🙂
Oh and SuperTrooper why don't u take your dumb comments and bury them in one of your haystacks out there in Vermont. By the way has anything good really come out of Vermont? Maybe spring water, but that's all I can think of 🙂

Tell me, Galen PapaGeorge, why are Greeks so damn patriotic?! If the greeks were so great they wouldn't have been ruled by the Ottoman Turks for hundreds of years.
I really don't wish to get into a political argument here. I know my history very, very well, but I am not a patriotic zealot, I'm simply proud of my heritage. As far as the occupation goes, it is simply a part of history that great civilizations are bound to fall. If you look back at the Byzantine Empire it fell more than 1000 years after Constantinople was built. That's a pretty long time. Long standing occupations happen, but as long as a nation's culture, language and religion persevere through it, and the will for independence is there, there is hope.
With all that being said, I still don't appreciate your ethnic comments against me and other people from the same background. I took a minor stab at your little state, but that was all in good fun. If you don't have anything constructive to say from this point on, I'd appreciate it if you stayed silent.
P.S - Where are the moderators??? Do ethnic jokes not fall into the category of "message board etiquette?" Get off your seats and do something!

LOR from a Greek dentist, boss, or professor? Sure why not! LOR from the Greek cook that makes gyros or the Greek taxi drive? hell no!
Personally, I wouldn't recommend having more than one Greek LOR. You're just asking for trouble once you get two or more Greeks writing letters for you.golfmontpoker said:LOR from a Greek dentist, boss, or professor? Sure why not! How about a LOR from Mr. John Chimpo?
