Just to make sure, LORs are always added to the AMCAS application and not directly sent to the school via Interfolio. LORs can be attached even after you submit AMCAS. They can also be send with your secondary app (but again attaching it to the AMCAS) or you can submit them after secondary (although you will not be complete in that school). In addition, you can select diff. LORs to each on AMCAS. Also, you need to resubmit AMCAS after you attach the LORs, but there is no verification process.

This is basically what I gathered from this forum. I would like to check if this info is right with those who have gone though this app process.

Thanks!

This is pretty much all correct.

Regarding the bolded, they aren't really "sent with your secondary app." They are either sent with your primary, or you can send them through amcas later (after you send the secondary). The LOR, a secondary app, and a payment must all be received for a school to mark you as complete.

Is it better to send them with the primary or do schools not want letters unless you are asked to do a secondary? Also, let's say I have two letters that I want sent to a specific school, but my third letter hasn't been uploaded yet. Is it okay to submit those two letters now and the third one later?

I submitted mine with the primary, but there probably isn't any advantage to it. Like I said, you won't be complete until both the secondary and the LORs are submitted. As long as the letters are sent with your secondary, then they won't delay your app at all.

You can send two, and then the third. But, you wont be complete yet. Therefore, nobody will look at your app until the third letter has been submitted (unless the third letter is optional, then you're fine). Basically, there is no advantage to submitting only some of the required letters, b/c your app will still be delayed until the entire LOR requirement has been met.
