Just wondering...How many LOR's do you guys have? I have 3 now, 1 from my genetics prof., 1 from a doctor I shadowed and 1 from my current employer. I've been trying to get more LOR's from professors but since ive already graduated i'm having a hard time with it. Should I be worried about this?

they(as in my numero uno) just needs to read two of em,recognize the names of the people,and thats all i need. chomp chomp!

btdubs,i think you need 3 science letters or a letter from your pre-health committee.

Your situation:

You need one more science professor according to the requirements of most schools. Then you'll have the 3 minimal required done.


My situation...since the original post asked.

I have 6 LORs.
1) Prehealth Committee letter
2) O-Chem Professor
3) Biochem Professor
4) Local Dentist
5) Medical Doctor (worked with him in a Public Helath Org.)
6) Ceramics Professor (knew me better than anyone else)

I agree with the last post, get at least 2-3 science letters, one dentist, and a non science prof.

I didn't bother getting a letter from an employer though.


I just don't think one LOR from science is enough.
