Hi all!

Is it bad if I have my LORs from three different optometrists/ophthalmologist?
Does any of the schools give you the option of any one for your LORs?

You will need at least one from a professor. I'm fairly sure that the majority of the schools will ask for one....I can't remember though. Can someone else confirm this?

If no one replies, go to the school websites, they have very detailed lists of the things that you need, including who your LORs need to be from.

You definitely need a LOR from a Science Prof. Huston College of optom says you have to have TWO from science profs, which i think is just over doing it....so having atleast one is a must.

Were you accepted before submitting two science professors? Was it conditional on the fact that you could get the two letters later on? I am having a lot of difficulty finding science professors to write me letters, so I was hoping maybe I could go ahead and apply with non-science prof + optometrist letters and then maybe ask a science professor for this upcoming semester to write me a letter...

yes,gave in three different optometrist. they still requested 2 professors from science/math

You would need the letters from professors, but still apply in the meantime. The letters can come in April or so
