Soooo.....i decided to call several schools that I haven't heard a peep from since august and see where I am at. Lo and behold, I was told at one of the schools that I never turned in my secondary. Even though I got confirmation. Even though I have called them before, and gotten the "Oh you are complete. Just wait". Even though my check has long been cashed.

Thanks. A. Lot. *profanity*

You might wanna call your schools if you are still waiting.

This is unrelated to your post but is related to your name. I had a kumquat for the first time the other day, and it just was not very good. It was very tart, and the skin was a bit tough. Do you think I just had a overripe/not yet ripe one, or do you think that I just do not like the taste? Are good kumquats very tart? Thanks.

Sorry they lost your app. Are you resending it, and if so are they going to take a quick look at it?

Nice hijack....no kumquats taste that way....its just the way they are supposed to taste.

To the OP, i would kick some med school ass. Keep bitching at them

i love kumquats.. .they taste a lil like the skin of an orange but much sweeter, with a tartness to them. yummy

But yea, Im about to go and break their door down if they don't let me resubmit. OOOR give me back my $$

The school will let you resubmit your application even if it's past the deadline. Three schools lost my application. UCSF never received it. I had 4 weeks to complete my secondary. The school didn't notify me until 2 months after I had submitted it. I was really upset that my application got lost in the mail, but what else could I do except resubmit.

Dartmouth sent me confirmation that they received my secondary and cashed my check in Aug. But apparently, they had trouble downloading my LORs at the end of July and never bothered to try again when they received my secondary. They notified me in Dec. that my file was incomplete.

Harvard also lost one of my LORs.
