I'd still go to school. Wouldn't have to worry about loans and would only have to work to get my internship hours and experience. I think no matter how much money I won, I'd need some sort of job or something to do everyday. I've done the sit around and do nothing for nearly a year, and it gets old, boring, and depressing for me.

Why not setup your own lottery with the winnings? You could return 30%, use 25% for advertising, 20% for printing, and keep 25% for yourself out of every $1 brought in. 25% ROI isn't bad. Heck donate 5% to schools and you could probably get away with calling it charity.🙄
That's called racketeering....I like it 😍
Allow me to share....For me I would alter ma career & join the Medical school😀
Me too! If you really have a passion for pharmacy then you would still continue on that path.I would still go to Pharm school!!!
I agree completely, 5 million is a lot of money but its not enough for me to hack my pharmacy career goals.
If anything I would just have more time to study while in pharmacy school and not worry about finances, and live in a cool apartment.
Maybe if you added another zero.. that might be another story 🙄
oh yeah and throw bills at SDN as in dollar bills hahaI would donate to a medical school/pharmacy school for automatic acceptance.

Yeah, because as corny as it may seem, I want to be a productive member of society.
However, I wouldn't work as many hours once I graduated and my pharmacy would be next to a Florida beach.😀
Yeah, I'd still go to pharm school. $2-3 mil (after taxes) is not enough to live off in my opinon. Hell, I'm planning on living another 70 years! That really isn't enough to live off especially when you have no work to do. Besides, I agree with omnione, I want to be a productive member of society as corny as it sounds. That, and I think it would get boring not working.
Are you kidding me? Just crunch the numbers: If you simply put $2.5 million in a savings account yielding 4%, you'd have $100,000 every year, forever! If that is not enough for you to live on, why are you entering pharmacy?
if I won lottery, I will buy all the CVS in the area and fire my district manager right away~😡
that sounds awesome. hey, that gives me an idea. if i won the lottery, i would buy all the cheap-a$$ Rite-Aid pharmacies, fire the entire corporate management level, and run things right! With a lump sum of $5 million in my bank account tomorrow I wouldn't really change the way I live, however, when I win the powerball when it is huge, like $200 million, I've got plans that pharm. school would get in the way of. I think I would start a real estate company that my close friends would run, I would invest in moderate government securities to live on, and I've thought about starting some type of medically related mission.
I personally think medicine is the biggest rip off in the world, and even winning over a hundred million dollars wouldn't even put a dent into the money involved with medicine, so I think I might encounter a slippery slope there. I would definetly travel, learn new things like how to fly an airplane, helicopter, and build stuff. I don't think I could concentrate on one thing like school with all the opportunities that that kind of money would bring.
Yeah I'd still go... $5M is not that much. If you buy a nice house in California and have a nasty coke habit, that $5M is not enough. Need back up plan.
