hey,
does anyone know when the 2nd round acceptances start and is the "next to be contacted" list any better than the "waitlist"?!

next to be contacted and waitlist are the same thing. There's another thread on this somewhere. I called and they told me that they should start pulling people off of the waitlist this week. I'm not sure if they actually did or not. Why don't you call and ask?

i just called them and they said that "it will just trickle in & they are looking at it now". they wouldn't tell me what % of the class is filled though! apparently they interview way upto feb 4th so we'll just have to wait a little longer. i don't think there is going to be an explosion of offers.
any thoughts?

If you don't think there is going to be an explosion of offers.....then you must have gotten the impression from them that a lot of the seats are already taken?? Is that right?

no! the impression i got was that they would not send out a whole load of 2nd round acceptances all at once on a specific date. the lady i spoke to said that the acceptances would "trickle in".., during the process.
