Well I had my UofL interview yesterday. I guess they started on Monday (8/26) and started with re-applicants. Their were 8 people in my group. 4 guys, 4 girls. They did just the interview portion of the interview which was from 1 pm - 3 pm which was nice not having to spend the whole day their for things that we've already been familiarized with as re-applicants that had interviewed there previously.

Basically, what they said in the exit interview was that they would interview people every Monday and Friday until mid December excluding a few holidays/special events. They would gather together in early-mid November to as a committee to put together a preliminary list of people to accept on Dec. 1st and would only fill about half-2/3's of the class on Dec 1st.

From January - early March they would continue to interview people on Monday's and he said even if you hadn't heard back in February, not to worry about it...but if you hadn't heard back from them by March/April, then to start worrying about it.

The interview process at UofL is generally 2 interviews with faculty/upperlevel dental student. I got a faculty member and a 3rd year dental student to interview me. then they follow those interviews with an exit interview to wrap things up.

Thanks for the info! I have an interview scheduled for next Thursday (Sept. 7th). I received the invite via email a few days ago.

My application just got complete. I actually called Thursday to check on it and was told it was under review. I interviewed last year, and hope that I get to interview again!

They gave me notice today and want me there in 5 days. I'm an in-state applicant, going to school out of state, so the flight is going to be expensive or I'll have to see if they'll reschedule.

Same here. I just got my invite today, and it's scheduled next monday.
It would've sucked if i had to fly in..

I got an email saying that my application is complete...still waiting on the interview invite!

I actually got both of them (completion mail, interview invite) on the same day:today. The first mail came around 9 in the morning then the interview invite came around noon..so it's either they didn't even look at my application packet and decided to interview me since i'm in-state, or they do real quick reviews on applications..

Just got an email from Louisville...I have an interview with them on Sept 17! I really want to rescedule that interview date though...Does anyone know if Louisville allow people to reschedule their interview??

T🙂hanks for the info. My interview is set for April 7. How were the facilities and equipment; at one time I heard everything was out-dated? This will be my first interview so I am a little nervous. I have two more scheduled for Case and Kentucky. Still waiting to hear from OSU, Michigan and Florida.

My application is complete and I got the e-mail Wednesday saying so. AADSAS has been updated (today) saying it is in review. I remember getting my interview invite a few days after my "application complete" e-mail last year. I'm hoping for a similar situation this time around.

I am out-of-state, so I'm not really sure how that plays into account. I do remember having a very short period of time between the invite and the actual interview date though (about a week).

I got my "application complete" email almost a month ago, no update on AADSAS yet....I guess things aren't looking good...🙁

Congrats! Did you receive the interview email the same day you received your "application complete" email too?

I got an e-mail from Louisville yesterday inviting me for an interview!! It said they have me scheduled for september 17th, already! That's so SOON, and i have another interview that same week @ NOVA.

If it's too hard to reschedule it looks like i'll be missing a few days of class that week.
