No, they don't. Your AADSAS will be updated once your application is under review. Email invitations are sent via e-mail.

I booked mine through expedia. There are a lot of travel sites that have good deals you just need to look around a little. Rates change all the time though...when is your interview...the sooner you book and the more in advance the better.
